The primary objective of our capstone project was to design and launch an e-commerce website for Black Label Designs, an esteemed interior design company with operations in Edmonton and Vancouver. The client aspired to establish a sophisticated online presence, providing a platform for showcasing their services and products while facilitating seamless e-commerce transactions.

As a pivotal member of the cross-functional team, I played a crucial role in translating the client's vision into a functional and visually appealing website. Leveraging my expertise gained at NAIT, I focused on designing responsive layouts and pages for the website. My responsibilities included crafting wireframes, implementing horizontal scrolls, integrating videos, and developing pages tailored to the client's specific requirements.
A significant aspect of my contribution involved the development of intricate features, such as a multi-step form with PHP validations, which enhanced user interaction and streamlined data collection. Additionally, I contributed in the successful integration of WooCommerce, providing Black Label Designs with a comprehensive e-commerce solution.
Summary
Our collaborative efforts led to the successful deployment of a sophisticated WordPress CMS-based e-commerce site for Black Label Designs. We achieved the client's goal of establishing a robust online platform, surpassing their expectations and garnering positive feedback.
